The Mt. Bachelor Pad is a great bed for car camping and using around the house. I like that it can roll up into its own velcro straps and handle, which makes it easily transportable. The Medium Size is also big enough to fit me and my 50-pound dog on (if we cuddle). I’m sure smaller dog owners would like to see a smaller size though (Hint, hint). I’ve found two detractions to it: first, it would be great if the cover could come off for quick-washes (get the dirt & dog hair off). Second, it’s not thick enough to protect a dog from really hard or rocky ground. That being said, my Seeley enjoyed sleeping it on our last camping excursion, and I enjoyed having her in a designated space, so I didn’t have muddy paws all over the inside of my tent! Overall, though, it’s a great portable dog bed.

Excellent portable bed that’s easy to clean! Would you recommend this product?.: Yes! We love this bed! We got it for car rides/camping/hiking and it does the trick. Enough padding where our older dog can comfortably rest her joints, but still compact enough to roll up and throw in the car or in a pack (be it a decent sized pack, or have it hang outside – is NOT a compact bed). Great product, great design, and very durable. Would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good, portable space for their dog that will stand the test of time.

Love it! Would you recommend this product?.: Yes! My dog sleeps with me in our queen memory foam bed; I ordered a large Mt. Bachelor Pad as a travel mat for my dog to lay on during seminars, training classes, visits to the assisted living home, etc. I’m very pleased! My dog likes it, and I love how it rolls up into a compact bed roll with a handle that is easy for me to carry when I have the leash in one hand, and my purse and Haul Bag in the other. The large is the right size for my 76# male German Shepherd Dog. It does take up a lot of floor space when it is unrolled, but my dog needs it to be comfortable. I definitely recommend this as a travel bed/ mat.

Far from your ordinary dog bed, the Loft Wander Bed™ has a rugged water-resistant top and waterproof bottom, making it the ultimate travel dog bed. It can be used in the car and RV as well as an outdoor dog bed for camping or the back deck at your lake house. The top is made of a quilted, water-resistant Microtomic™ ripstop fabric that is durable, while the poly fill makes it cozy for your pup. It has a non-slip, waterproof Rufftex™ bottom that keeps it from slipping around in the car and makes it perfect for laying on dewy grass while camping. The bed rolls up in seconds like a sleeping bag with its own built-in handle for toting. It can also be machine washed, making it easy to keep clean.

Good. Would you recommend this product?.: Yes! My dog likes this bed, even more so when we go camping. It is lightweight and it’s extremely portable-I’m able to clip it to my pack with a carabiner and can’t even tell it’s on. My only issue is that it is just not durable enough for long term use. There is a small hole worn into the top part of it where the material seems to have thinned out. I’ve had it for about a year, I believe, but it spends most of its time in the house. For future designs, maybe have the bottom material completely encase it with the microsuede on top of that to ensure complete waterproofing and durability.
